General Information - Trip SpecificationsRiver Trips are usually from 7:00 AM to
after 4:00 PM and may run longer depending on the travel time
to the chosen destination. Departure times may vary depending on
weather and tidal conditions. Hotel pick up and drop off is provided in Quepos / Manuel Antonio and Manzanillo where applicable. In Parismina it is a short walk to the boat in the morning from your lodge. Sorry. no cars in Parismina. All equipment is provided (fly or spinning) and clients are encouraged to bring their own equipment if they prefer. Contact Pez Rey for recommendations. Beverages, drinking water, tropical fruits and lunch are provided on all trips except half day trips where lunch will not be provided. In Parismina all meals are included in the package price. All guides are bilingual and have current Red Cross CPR and First Aid training. Rates do not include any required fishing licenses. Pelase be advised: Depending on the destination and chosen fisheries, clients may be required to help with loading and unloading of watercraft due to man power shortages in remote locations where the guide and client are on their own. There are some river float trips that pass through whitewater sections of the river. Clients will be notified in advance so they can make their own decision about the trip based on their physical capabilities. Because of these factors, Pez Rey requests notification of any physical limitations, injuries, special health conditions or dietary needs that the guide would need to be aware of.
